From enquiry to confirmed wine tour: a booking checklist

An enquiry asks for options; a quote sets out proposed terms; a confirmed booking establishes the arrangements the company has accepted. Check the final itinerary, total, payment schedule and confirmation before relying on the tour.

Send enough information to get a useful response

Provide the destination, destination-local date, group size, tour style and pickup area. Say whether the date is flexible and whether one winery or meal is essential. Clear requirements reduce the chance of comparing offers for different experiences. Share practical access or dietary requirements without uploading sensitive records.

Read the quote as a complete proposal

Check the company name, tour date, guests, pickup and return, planned stops, inclusions, exclusions and full currency total. Ask which winery appointments are confirmed and which may change. Make sure the quote explains the deposit or confirmation payment, balance deadline, guest-change rules and cancellation terms.

Resolve differences before accepting

If the offer uses a different pickup, date or guest count from your enquiry, ask for a corrected quote. Do not assume an email comment changes the formal terms. Keep the final accepted version. If the company offers a private traveller link, treat it as private and share it only with people who need the booking details.

Verify payment and confirmation separately

A payment request should identify the company and amount. Use the company’s agreed secure payment method and keep the receipt. Ask for confirmation of the booking state and remaining balance. A receipt alone may not explain whether the itinerary is fully confirmed, and a submitted enquiry does not authorise any charge.

Check the details again before travel

Review pickup instructions, contact details, final passenger count and any changes to the planned vehicle or wineries. Allow time to reach the meeting point. WineTour.ca’s current directory supports planning and quote enquiries; its public form does not hold seats or collect a card payment. The operator must confirm availability and final terms before a booking can be relied upon.

Does sending a WineTour.ca enquiry book my seats?

No. An enquiry does not reserve seats, guarantee availability or collect payment. The operator must confirm the route, price and booking terms through the subsequent booking process.
