Leave time between the stops

Prince Edward County is a Lake Ontario wine region shaped by limestone soils and lake breezes. Wine Country Ontario provides a regional winery map; use it to group the places you want to visit before asking an operator to confirm a practical route.

Plan a County winery day with lunch: coordinate meal reservations, tasting appointments and return transport.

Wellington area

If you are staying near Wellington, use that as your pickup reference and ask which wineries fit naturally into the day.

Picton area

A Picton stay can be the starting point for a custom request. Check whether collection from your accommodation is available.

A County itinerary

Use the regional winery map to group your preferred stops, then confirm the lunch venue and work tasting appointments around it. Ask the operator to allow for boarding, travel and any weather-related change to seating.

Before you request a tour

  • Confirm a lunch reservation separately from a tasting: check the kitchen service on your exact date, table location and indoor alternative if weather changes.
  • Give the full passenger and diner count, including non-tasting guests, and confirm dietary requirements and vehicle, entrance and washroom access for each stop.
  • Confirm the return location if dinner or another activity follows the tour.

For every route, arrange a driver who is not drinking. Ask about tasting eligibility, accessibility and non-tasting passengers when discussing the itinerary.

Can a County tour include both wineries and lunch?

Yes, when the operator and venue confirm both arrangements. Ask who reserves the table, how the tasting appointments fit around it and whether lunch is included or paid separately. Do not treat a tasting confirmation or snack pairing as a reserved seated meal.

Can I book through WineTour.ca now?

You can send a planning enquiry. It does not reserve a tour, and no payment is collected. We will need to confirm operator coverage and availability before a booking can be offered.
